About the Pastor
Rev. Herbert O. pollard Jr. was born in Richmond, VA on December 1, 1966. He is the eldest son of Pastor Herbert O. Pollard Sr. and Co-Pastor Gainell I. Pollard. He has one brother; Frazier C. Pollard Sr. of Virginia Beach, VA.
After his birth, Rev. Pollard’s parents relocated to Manhattan, New York where he attended P.S. 128. Following the birth of his brother, the family moved back to Richmond where he attended Richmond Public Schools. Rev. Pollard graduated from George Wythe High School. He attended Virginia Union University where he majored in music.
During the month of November in 1994, Rev. Pollard received and accepted the Call to the Ministry. After receiving the Call he attended Richmond Christian Center Bible Institute. On November 8, 1997 he was licensed and ordained into the ministry at All Nations Family Church. He served as the Youth Pastor and Minister of Music.
Rev. Pollard is married to the lovely Patrice Lewis Pollard of Richmond, VA and is the proud father of six children.
Rev. Pollard will be enrolling into the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology’s Master of Divinity Program at Virginia Union University’s School of Theology for the Spring Semester 2009 to further his education.
